About Us

The Perse School was founded in Cambridge in 1615 in the name of Dr Stephen Perse, and quickly established its academic credentials by sending a regular flow of scholars to Caius College, Cambridge. A Perse education is based on three pillars – academic excellence, developing the whole person and extra-curricular development.

Our vision is to love learning and strive for the greater good. This is underpinned by our four values: Intellectual Curiosity, Endeavour, Breadth & Balance, and Respect for One Another and the Environment.
